Iggy Angel Diaz is a trans queer salvadorian, born in Sto:lo Coast Salish territory and currently residing and working within Tiohtia:ke. They are LGBTQA+ , SWer friendly, neurodiverse and body neutral.
Their trainings began in K’emk’emeláy̓ (Vancouver) and then in 2015 moved to Tiohtia:ke (Montréal).
As their learning has continued so did witnessing the heteronormative and white systems to accessing and receiving bodywork. Being in these settings made the pursuit of creating and providing care to people like themselves a priority. From participating as a practitioner in the form of Community Healing Days , to massage events for Caregivers, queer healing days through L’asterisk / Center for Gender Advocacy / p10 / other trans organization within Montreal, free sessions here and there, or the regular low cost sessions for those who need it. Iggy works towards creating space for one to relax, a time to quiet the nervous systems and recuperate. As a canadian born salvadoran, they have been reconnecting to indígena healing practices by working with their mentor. With the years of training and modalities that feel aligned, they have grown more into the name of metaphysical bodywork.
